Can you change the lock on an Old Town house without spoiling the door?
Yes. We measure the old lock and find a compatible mortice lock, or adapt the recess with a timber packer. From the outside the door looks the same. It costs €80-150 in labour plus the lock, and if you want to keep the old handle we keep it.
How do you get into the Old Town with the tools?
We park on the promenade or by the river and walk up with what we need. For jobs with bulky materials (a complete shutter, a toilet) we agree a quieter time with you. We do not charge for the access time.
I have a flat in Paraíso that I let in summer. Will you do the maintenance?
Yes. Cylinder change between tenants, a check of shutters and taps, a set-up visit in May and a monthly check in winter for €45-80 a month. We work with the key from your agency or with a smart lock, and we send you photos and the invoice by email.
