Locksmith in Jávea: villa locks and wooden doors

The villas of Tosalet, La Lluca and Balcón al Mar have solid timber doors with old mortice locks and gates with rim locks. We open without damage when the door slams shut (€60-90 in the daytime), change bombines (lock cylinders) for €40-60 plus the cylinder and replace complete locks for €80-150 plus the part. Awnings in Jávea: big arms, 5-metre fabrics and motors

The terraces with a view in Cap Martí and Portitxol have 5-6 metre folding-arm awnings that the easterly wind punishes. We replace fabrics (€150-300 up to 4 metres with fabric, more beyond that), swap broken arms and springs (€90-160), motorise with a Somfy remote (€250-420) and fit new awnings for €120-220 in labour. In the apartments of the Arenal and the Port the aluminium persianas (roller shutters) seize with salt, and those in the older villas of the Old Town are wooden or Majorcan louvres on cords. We repaint terraces and railings that the sun and damp flake every two summers, treat ceilings with damp stains in Cansalades and Granadella, and paint rental-home interiors: walls in white €6-8/m², walls and ceilings €8-10/m², colour change €10-12/m². Jávea urbanisations and nearby towns

We work in the Old Town, the Port and the Arenal, and in the hillside and coastal urbanisations: Cap Martí, Balcón al Mar, Tosalet, La Lluca, Cansalades, Portitxol and Granadella. In the Granadella and Balcón al Mar urbanisations the lanes are narrow and poorly numbered: with a Google Maps pin we arrive first time.

Response time in Jávea: 35-60 minutes

We reach the Arenal and the Port in about 35 minutes; the high urbanisations of Cap Martí, Tosalet or Granadella in 45-60. For non-urgent jobs we give you a fixed time and usually chain several visits in Jávea on the same day. Hours Monday to Sunday 8am to 9pm, with locksmith and drain emergencies outside those hours at a surcharge.
