I open the flat in June and nothing works. What do you do in one visit?
A half-day set-up (€120-150): we open the stopcocks, free cisterns and taps stuck with limescale, clean the shutter guides, redo the silicone and check locks and fly screens. Parts that need replacing (cartridges, mechanisms, straps) are quoted separately at a fixed price.
I live in Madrid and the flat is in Santa Pola. Can you go without me?
Yes. With a key from a neighbour, the agency or a key safe. We sign a key receipt, send you photos of the finished work and the invoice by email, and you can pay by transfer or Bizum. We also do monthly checks in winter for €45-80 a month.
Why will my shutter not go up after the winter?
Because of the salt that builds up in the guides and the axle bearings when the shutter spends months down. Do not force the strap: it snaps and the repair gets harder. We clean, grease and replace whatever is rusted for €50-120. Read the guide roller shutter will not go up.
Do you charge a call-out to Gran Alacant?
Not if you accept the quote. If after the visit you decide not to go ahead, it is €35. Gran Alacant, Arenales del Sol and the Cabo are on the same rate as the centre of Santa Pola.
